Minor Surgery

We have well equipped treatment rooms and several minor surgery procedures can be undertaken. Your clinician will be able to determine if you are suitable to have your surgery performed in these clinics.

A 'wart clinic' is held every other Tuesday afternoon at Rhydyfelin surgery. Patients who attend our branch surgeries may also attend this clinic. Please speak to the Receptionist for further information.

Phlebotomy (blood taking) Clinics

Phlebotomy clinics are available throughout the week across our branches.

Exercise Referral Programme

For patients who are currently on one of our chronic disease registers and who are interested in undertaking some exercise; where appropriate we are able to refer into a locally run programme.

Dietician

For patients who require help and guidance with their dietary needs, the Practice has a referral system for the dietician from either the hospital or GP referral.

Cancer Support - Complementary Services

The Cancer Support (Cynon Valley) RCT offer a range of services and therapies designed to help both cancer sufferers and their families. Their services are aimed at complementing any medical treatment given. Cancer Support Cynon Valley is a charity providing services for people whose life is affected by cancer. Please speak to the receptionist for further details of this service.

Anticoagulation clinic - By Appointment

The anticoagulation clinic are run on Monday and Thursday by appointment system with practice nurses, if newly registered patient, please inform a member staff you take warfarin, for a appointment to be arranged through the practice nurses.
