Home Visits

Doctor's bag

Home visits are limited and should therefore be for patients who are terminally ill or too ill to attend the surgery. Please consider transport options prior to phoning for an appointment.

Please use this service responsibly; the doctor can see five patients in the time it takes to attend one housecall.

Home visits should be booked early in the day as they are normally made after morning surgery between 13:00 - 14:30.

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
